  I was in Youngstown from Cincinnati March 18 for OAC state wrestling tournament. while downtown i asked around for recommendations on where to eat Avalon was a major hit for the locals so i was excited to try it. Google told me they open at 11am so we headed that way only to find out, from a sign on the door, it wasn't going to open until 11:45am. i was kind of bummed but i understood seeing that St. Patrick's Day was the day before � however i finally got a chance to make it in the place wasn't busy at all. sat at the bar for quick bite and a couple beers we order one pizza and meatball sub. sub came out in a couple minutes and was not the greatest but whatever, i didn't come for a sub. about that time a couple guys come in and sit down next to us and ordered 3 pizzas. 3! to my 1 pizza. so about a half hour goes by and i ask about my order 5min later i get a tap on my shoulder (what kind of server taps people for their attention?) for him to tell me it will be another 8-10mins for my pizza. i look over and the guys who ordered 3 pizzas 20min after i walked in are eating. WHAT!?!?! 55min for one pizza? come on now. i won't be back, mostly because I'm never in Youngstown but your pizza joint left a sour taste in my mouth. PIZZA WAS GOOD, I'll give you that. but not worth the wait and overall bad experience.

  Ordered the veggie pizza and added the homemade hot peppers it was the best pizza I had in a long time. Crust was crunchy and flavorful.

  Server was good,grilled chicken salad was a joke.not even real chicken.worst I've ever had.
